Clear PVC pipe lets you see flow, sediment, and buildup inside a line without opening the system — ideal for any industrial or commercial process that has to stay visible. Alsco Industrial stocks GF Harvel Clear™ rigid PVC pipe in Schedule 40, Schedule 80, and UV-resistant grades, in 10 ft. lengths and diameters from 1/4 in. up to 12 in.
All three weld to standard PVC fittings and valves with solvent cement, so clear pipe drops into an existing system as sight gauges, flow-monitoring sections, or complete runs:
- Schedule 40 Clear PVC Pipe — standard-wall, sizes 1/4 in. to 12 in.; the most common choice for visual monitoring and sight sections.
- Schedule 80 Clear PVC Pipe — heavier wall and higher pressure rating, sizes 1/4 in. to 6 in.
- UV-Resistant Clear PVC Pipe — for applications with sunlight or outdoor exposure.
Typical uses include laboratories, food and beverage processing, pharmaceutical and medical facilities, chemical and electroplating lines, hatcheries, and secondary containment around high-purity tubing. Harvel Clear is made from an FDA-compliant resin rated for food and drinking-water contact. Standard clear PVC is not UV resistant — choose the UV-resistant grade for outdoor runs.
