The Hayward YSH Series Y-Strainer is a high-performance thermoplastic strainer engineered for debris removal in demanding industrial, chemical, and aquatic piping systems. Available in PVC, Clear PVC, and CPVC with either EPDM or FPM O-rings, the YSH Series covers sizes 1/2" through 2" and carries a full pressure rating of 150 psi (10 bar) non-shock at 70°F. The one-piece injection molded body eliminates fabrication and welds for consistent structural integrity across every unit.

Alsco Industrial offers the YSH Series in True Union end connections with socket or threaded ends and a standard 1/32" perforation screen. The true union design allows the strainer body to be fully removed from the line for cleaning, screen replacement, or service without disturbing adjacent piping, while the optimized barrel angle and increased barrel capacity improve flow performance and straining capacity.
